Setting the logging levels

Using remote desktop connect to the Application server/s. Please note that in most environments there are two application servers. Please contact your IT department for connection instructions.


Open Internet Information Services Manager and navigate to the site. Then double click the Configuration Editor.




Double click the configuration Editor. Click the Configure button.

  1. Select Logs, 2. expand the logs tab, 3. Set the logging level to verbose, 4. click Save. Click OK and then click Yes.
  2. You will find the Web App logs in the directory C:\ProgramData\Cegid\Cegid Retail Y2 14.0\Logs

    In debug mode you will generate a 20 MB file every 10 minutes so you will need to retrieve the file very quickly after identifying an issue.

    Once you have collected your files repeat the process above to set the logging level back to Information.
