There is an alternative to disabling the internet connection on the local machine in order to test standalone functionality.  You can force the Front Office application into standalone.

 

Below are instructions on how to set this up via a desktop shortcut.

Go to the path below, right click send to Desktop (create shortcut).

   C:\Program Files (x86)\Cegid\Cegid Retail\Cegid Retail Y213.0\Front Office


 

Right click on the new shortcut on the desktop, go toproperties.  In the ‘Target’ field add aspace then / and the word DEGRADE in capital letters (shown below). 

 Click ok.

Standalone can now be tested.  Double click on the shortcut and sign into Y2with user ID



Enter in salesperson

NOTE: remember to ensure you have the latest aggregates forthe store you are testing.  You can do this by going to:

FO > Settings > Registers > Register> double click on the register > click on export aggregates
